Board of Trustee Candidates’ Views on Affordable Housing
Transit-Oriented Development in Superior
In 2022, the Town of Superior along with the Boulder County Housing Authority considered zoning changes to potentially allow for affordable housing to be developed near the RTD Park-n-Ride Station at U.S. Highway 36. Read this news release for a description of the project and public comment sessions offered in July 2022: https://www.superiorcolorado.gov/Home/Components/News/News/3975/
Though the project would have met the aims of the Regional Transportation District (RTD) resolution on transit-oriented development (TOD), it failed to gain the necessary support.
