Housing for All in Boulder County

A virtual educational series developed by ECHO and Together Colorado

In Boulder County, we make the way for a better and brighter future for all residents, no exceptions. This four-part program series brought together leaders from ECHO, Together Colorado, the Boulder Area Labor Council, and the Boulder Chapter of the NAACP for a training series on affordable housing in Boulder County.

The sessions provide:

• A primer on American housing policies and their roots in segregation, both economic and racial and how those policies influenced growth and development in Boulder County.

• Discussions around why Boulder County reached a turning point, and what needed to be done to change our area’s growth patterns to be more inclusive.

• Tools and techniques for citizen activism in the housing arena and beyond.

• Ways to stay plugged in on affordable housing and to continue to organize and advocate around this issue.
