Online Training for Newly Elected Policy-Makers

This training session for new and experienced elected officials and policy-makers addresses affordable housing in East Boulder County communities and the connections between affordable housing and environmental sustainability. We explore ways to grow that can limit and even reduce harmful emissions. Learn what local officials can do to help create affordable housing in a way that protects our Earth.
Presenters represent the East County Housing Opportunity Coalition, the Boulder Housing Network, Together Colorado Boulder County Organizing Committee, the Indian Peaks Chapter of the Sierra Club, The Southwest Energy Efficiency Project, and Sustainable Resilient Longmont. As professionals who have played a role in decision-making about growth and development in our area, they share valuable knowledge of best practices in growth and how state and local decisions affect the environment.
